    Columbia County Christmas Tree Lighting

    Come watch Evans Towne Center Park illuminate with Christmas spirit. Starting 4 pm,

    this event includes a visit from Santa, live entertainment, and arts and crafts for

    the whole family.

    Columbia County’s 53rd Annual Christmas Parade

    Date: Dec. 3 Time: 2 pm Location: Alongside Washington Rd, Evans, GA

    Stomping with Christmas spirit, this annual event is the kick off to the holiday

    season. This parade is a gift to the community in a classic way and is great for the

    whole family. The parade starts at the intersection of Evans Towne Center Dr. and Evans to Locks Rd.

    and continues down Washington Rd. to eventually end at the intersection of Belair

    Rd and Cox Rd.

    Lights of the South

     Date: Nov. 18 – Dec. 30 Time: 6pm – 10pm Location: 633 Louisville Rd, Grovetown, GA

    The South displays millions of lights across over 100 acres near Grovetown. Explore the

    illuminated world of Christmas and enjoy a simple meal and tasty treats with the family

    in Mrs. Claus’ Kitchen.

    Home Holiday Light Show

     Date: Nov. 30 – Dec. 31 Time: 6pm-10pm and all night on Christmas Eve

     Location: 4128 Fair Oaks Rd. Martinez, GA

    For a total of 4 years now homeowner and magician, Mike Gilliland has set up an

    amazing Christmas Light Show right outside his home off of Flowing Wells Road. When

    you pull up, tune your FM radio to 90.1 and enjoy the classic songs of Christmas as you

    watch the lights dance to the music. Watch out for the North Pole’s towering mailboxes

    which shoots snow flurries every time Santa sends and receives letters. You may be

    lucky and have your car coated with it.
